DIY masks offer a budget-friendly way to achieve a bridal glow.
Dreaming of a radiant bridal glow but don’t want to spend a fortune on beauty treatments and facials? DIY masks are a perfect, fuss-free fix. Here are some simple, easy-to-make face packs you can prepare at home using minimal ingredients, and use once a week to achieve that luminous finish.
Avocado and Olive Oil
Avocado is deeply moisturising and rich in Vitamin E, making it ideal for dehydrated skin. Mash a ripe avocado and mix in a spoonful of olive oil. Apply the mask evenly on your face and leave it on for 10–15 minutes. Rinse off to reveal soft, nourished, glowing skin.
Besan, Curd & Honey Pack
This pack is great for brightening dull skin, while honey adds natural hydration. Mix 4 teaspoons of besan with an equal amount of curd and 1 teaspoon of honey to form a thick paste. Apply it to your face and let it sit for 15–20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water for refreshed, smoother skin.
Sandalwood, Coconut & Rose Water
Sandalwood helps moisturise, soothe irritation, and treat dry patches. Coconut oil adds extra nourishment, while rose water provides a gentle, natural glow. Mix 1 tablespoon sandalwood powder with 1/4 teaspoon coconut oil and 1 tablespoon rose water to form a smooth paste. Apply it to your face for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water. This mask can be used up to three times a week for the best results.
Potato And Lemon
This simple pack works well for oily, acne-prone skin and helps reduce stubborn pimples. Peel and grate a small potato, then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the mixture. Apply the blend evenly on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly to reveal fresher, clearer skin.
Aloe Vera and Papaya
Papaya is excellent for the skin, as its natural enzymes gently exfoliate, making it perfect for combination skin. Aloe vera adds soothing nourishment and hydration. Mash 2–3 pieces of ripe papaya and mix in 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel. Add a little rose water to achieve a smooth consistency, then apply the mixture to your face for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. This mask can be used once or twice a week for healthy, refreshed skin.
